Yet usually companies with these names sell a specific product or service - their names makes them sound like they are representative of a nation, even if they are the neighborhood hardware store.

And finally you can begin to think about the cleverness or wit of a name, and what that evokes. Associations with words like "Target" or "Whole Foods" are more immediate and less abstract than a supplier of a specific service. These symbolic names suggest a specific meaning, in these cases, that of quality, although these stores sell a variety of things.

After you feel comfortable with a name for your company it's time to seek out promotional merchandise.
