And that is technically a Yahtzee, which would give you 50. Thats why, in general, even if you are a poor player, you will end up with a score of about 12 to 18.
Here's something you would probably want to know! What is the probability of getting a Yahtzee in one particular turn? As you know, 1 turn gives you the chance to roll the dice 3 times. As such, the calculations (which are not that easy by the way), will result in a probability of 1 out of 22. That is the probability of getting it in any of the 3 rolls in a turn.The chances if getting it on your first roll in any turn is even lower! 1 out 1296. I bet you did not expect that eh?
The probability of getting a specific Yahtzee (all 4s, or all 5s) is 1 out 75.Now this one is bound to give you a couple of laughs! The probability of you rolling 13 Yahtzees in a single game is 1 out 283 quadrillion! And if you did not know, a quadrillion consists of a whopping 15 zeroes!
