Touch Screen Mobile Phones

"The newest technology to hit the world of phones is the touch screen mobile phones, which buyers are literally chomping at the bit for. With this advance in technology comes new interest and although these phones are considered to be more expensive than the usual button technology that we as mobile phone users are perhaps used to, they offer such a great toy alongside a communication device, and we all know that a new gadget is a novelty… for a period of time at least!

Touch screen mobile phones have actually been around for a little while now but nobody really sat up and paid very much attention until the new Apple Iphone was manufactured. The buzz behind this newest technology from the makers of the Ipod had people literally clawing down the doors of mobile phone retailers up and down the country and also all over the world.

Before this Iphone was the XDA brought about by the well-known network provider O2. However, back in the days before the Iphone, styluses were needed for inputting data into the large screen and to control the various functions. These days it seems that only a finger will do and if reports are to be believed, very soon this is the way that technology of mobile phones is heading towards and there will no longer be the need for buttons at all!

Despite the fact that the entire world seems to have gone barking mad over these touch screen mobile phones, the release of the Apple Iphone may actually have hindered the progress of newer technologies and although this seems rather difficult to believe, they actually own the patent and rights behind the marvellous finger poking device and the interface that is used so until they release this information or another company works out the secrets behind it, the Apple Iphone is likely to be the best that we will get until of course they release the newer model, which is highly likely, after the following that this one has established.

There is no real reason as to why people believe that touch screen mobile phones are that much better then the regular mobile phones we know about and have used for many years. After all, they get grubbier quicker, need extra care and too much pressure from a heavy fisted user could crack or break the screen. However, with newer technology comes a newer fan base and mobile phone enthusiasts all over the world will continue to go mad for it!

Conclusion:

Despite the fact that the Apple Iphone is considered to be the best of all the touch screen mobile phones on the market today, newer technology will continue to come about and very soon we will be looking at the Iphone in much the same way we would now look at an old mobile phone that is still in black and white and with monophonic ring tones! But for now however, we will continued to be enthralled by the fact that our fingers contain so much power and I’m sure the media frenzy over this wonderful device will continue to grow for many months to come!
