Nesting Stack Racks
Nester racks are a form of used stack racking that is made to protect products, eliminated wasted space, and make it easier and less time consuming to move products within the facility. When fully loaded, used load nesters can be stacked as high as five units deep. Ask a material handling specialist which model and capacity is best suited for a particular line of product or material.
Used Tire Stack Racks
There are several designs for used tire racks. The most popular type is made with perforated decking that lets water drain to the ground. This type of decking is preferred in areas where fire codes mandate that no surface be mounted that could potentially block sprinkler water. When this is not required by fire codes, however, a more cost effective alternative are tire racks with wire mesh decking. This is a good rack to use for used tires or low price point tires. An even more affordable used stack rack for tire storage is the center post design. These units can be placed on pallets and support up to 2,000 pounds when the pallets are stacked 5 high.
Nursery Racks
Nursery stack racks are used to protect sensitive nursery stock while it is being or stored. Sturdy shelves allow them be stack up to 5 high without crushing seedlings. They are also designed to encourage air circulating that will keep plants cool and protect them from heat.
Rail Stack Racks
Rail racks are stacked two high and used to double content capacity of each box car. The concept of the rail rack is brilliant, yet simple. The bottom row, so to speak, is actually the space under the rack. The top row is the space on the rack itself.
Used Shipping Racks
Shipping racks of all types can be used to protect breakables like glass, ceramics, and house wares. They can also be used to prevent denting in auto parts like side panels, hoods, catalytic converters, and transmissions can be destroyed with a single, accidental collision. Special used shipping racks can be ordered to stack 2 high during shipment and as much as 5 high during warehouse storage.
Suspended Roll and Used Coil racks
Suspended roll racks are used to protect any type of sensitive, rolled material. They utilize a core beam design that holds the roll up off the floor and prevents it from ever touching the ground. They can be accessed with a fork lift or a hoist. These racks can be stacked up to 3 high. Coil racks are made for storing heavy material such as steel coil in safe, consolidated areas to minimize the risk of injury and damage. Coil racks can be moved quickly with forklifts and stacked 5 high when necessary.
