In order to do so, one must determine the objective of going ahead with this exercise.  The objectives can be many. *    Determine the Recipient: Choosing the right promotional gift depends a lot on the recipient. An employee should not be given the same kind of gift as given to customers. Similarly, an important client cannot be gifted what an employee gets. So, one must determine the recipient of the gift for a right selection.

In case you end up exceeding the budget by leaps and bounds, the whole activity will be futile as costs will be more than the benefits.

A poor quality gift can render harm to the reputation of the company. Make an extensive search of the companies who are engaged in the business of promotional products and have a wide variety of gifts to offer.
