My old tv died so I acquired a new one. But I can't figure out how to get my system selector to work through my vcr. The tv only has 1 antenna (RF) input, no a/v (red yellow white cables) connections on it anywhere. My vcr has the a/v connections, 2 in 1 out and is connected to the tv through the antenna. I tried plugging the system selector in exactly the same way I had it before but apparently that isn't right. I also tried connecting my xbox through the vcr itself, no good. The vcr works, I can watch movies and tv through it but i can't seem to find a way to connect and play xbox through it. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.I can't buy a new tv, and I know it isn't the selector, which worked fine with my old tv that had a/v connections on it.So am I stuck playing nintendo until I can get a new tv?Why does a tv built in 1988 have more inputs than the one built in 2002 anyway?
