The average family is almost always looking for ways to combine making an income with their home life and family

commitments. Always the hope is that you can choose your work times to slot in comfortably with fetching and

carrying your children to school, sports, friends, etc. Fortunately the Internet has provided a lot more options than

were available 10 years ago.

The essential element of any business is the basic knowledge of the industry. The Internet is a massive organization comprising an international community. Learning the lingo and guidelines is essential if you want to fit in to the Internet community.

Keywords are intended to help our readers find items they are looking for and SEO to provide guidelines to set an acceptable standard for our work.

Condider your readers and acknowledge that they are your guests and possible customers. We can gain no profit by chasing them away due to careless content. Placating the spiders is essential but they will penalize work which does not follow regulations.

Basically you have 3 seconds to capture and hold your reader's attention when they visit your Website. The buying public wants instant gratification and why should they labour over a difficult site with poor content if there are millions of others to go to. If you lose a customer you have lost a sale.

In composing a 500 to 700 word content article the text should be broken up into easy to read short sentences and paragraphs with eye-catching headings and sub-headings. To highlight important points use bolding, color and bullet points. Word-for-word readers prefer details so they too must be satisfied by providing ample text.

Tables and images are easy for us to understand but for SEO purposes it is better to use text. Avoid flash, moving gifs and complicated art-work. SEO spider programs cannot understand the codes used for graphics. Consequently they either ignore them completely or penalise your ranking.

When preparing any work for the public at large consider the people you hope to attract to your site. It is pointless writing content about Play-stations targeted at 10 year-olds and using sophisticated language and vocabulary which they don't yet understand.

A dictionary and thesaurus are essential tools for journalists and should be at your elbow at all times. It is preferred practice to write simple language using short, everyday words and language. We are not writing to win a Pulitzer Award, we are writing to be understood by an audience which has a wide range of abilities.

Part of any presentation is quality and it is vital that we write correct grammar, well punctuated and spell-checked. Ensure that the work is easy to read and that paragraphs and sentences have continuity and flow. If readers have to re-read sentences so as to interpret them they will become impatient very soon and will start thinking that if your work is shoddy then your service and merchandize are too!

Content writing is both fun and challenging. It requires devotion and dedication to detail and sometimes can become boring work. But the rewards derived from the achievement of a successful effort make it a very satisfying and well paid skill.

This is developing into a most lucrative profession and has become an art-form of its own.
