Taking advantage of print marketing will help you find the best way to communicate with your customers despite their busy lives. It's not everyday that people check on their email, but they would most likely walk through their mailbox each day.

So, what's the best way to communicate to customers through print marketing and snail mail today? A good answer to that is greeting card printing. It's simple; it's not intrusive, and, most of all, it's a personal way of communicating with people. A well designed greeting card will help you strengthen your relationship with customers. For a more personal and effective greeting card, follow these simple design tips:

1) Be genuine in your message. A personal touch in the design will make your card look more like a message from a friend than from a business. Instead of using pre-formatted messages, write your own message. This will help make the message more special. It will make the recipient feel that the card and the message were specially designed for him or her. If you can personally sign each card, all the better. Your customers will feel your earnestness and be more encouraged to keep your card and even look at your business and your offerings.

2) Promote cunningly. Don't make your greeting cards just like another marketing material. Remember that people are more likely to open a mail that looks like a message from a friend. Don't put sales pitch on the envelope and all over the card. Your greeting card is not mean to close a sale. Your goal here is to send a greeting to let your customers feel that they are special to you. You can still advertise in your cards, but do it in a subtle manner. Present your message in a way that it will not make your customers feel that you only want them to buy your product or service.

3) Create a custom design. Don't just use cards that you can buy readily at gift shops or office supply stores. Remember that you want to look unique and create a sense of familiarity to your customers. That would require you to use greeting card templates that you personally customized. Just make sure to work closely with the designer so he will come up with the perfect design for your business.
