Wipe all parts clean and then apply lubricant once again. Apply lubricant on the track as well as the rollers and the sealing of the door until it functions smoothly.

Move the door once or twice until it gets dipped in the lubricant and start to move freely and without much of the effort. Check any weather stripping along the sides of the doors. In most of the cases replacement is not necessary you can always get it working with the help of the lubricants and kerosene and if your garage door is wood and it doesn't have bottom weather stripping, make sure it has been sealed or painted. Touch up as needed, and consider adding weather stripping to them because wooden gates are observed to wear out faster than the steel or iron gates. The maintenance of garage doors is not that difficult if done correctly.
