Rockwell Automation Chairman & CEO Opens New Customer Briefing and Competency Center in Noida, India

Rockwell Automation (NYSE:ROK), a leading provider of industrial automation power, control and information solutions, opened its new Customer Briefing and Competency Center in Noida, India. The new facility, which includes a Customer Briefing Center and Commercial Engineering facilities will provide competency development and proof of concept capabilities. Keith Nosbusch, Chairman and CEO of Rockwell Automation, inaugurated and officiated at the opening. ceremony.

"Despite the uncertain economy in many parts of the world, Rockwell Automation continues to increase its investments in India, a testament to our strong commitment and confidence in this region," said Nosbusch. Speaking to customers present during the inauguration, Nosbusch said, "this new Customer Briefing and Competency Center demonstrates our commitment, along with our dedication to our customers. The center showcases Rockwell Automation's advanced automation products, integrated control and information architecture as well as provides an exceptional educational experience for professionals at all levels." 

The Customer Briefing Center includes a working model of a complete Integrated Architecture solution, integrating multiple control disciplines such as discrete, motion, process, batch, and motor control on a single platform, which provides a safe and secure production environment. It also focuses on the expanding process capabilities of Rockwell Automation including safety, high availability and asset management. Visitors to the center will learn how to gain competitive advantage from the convergence of information, communication, control and power technologies.
