Put Out the Cheese

Have you ever experienced one of the most irritating rodents in the world? Have you ever had mice in your home that just wouldn't leave you alone? Somehow, these mice are attracted to the idea of cheese. Don't ask me how. Ultimately, they refuse to sense the danger of cheese on a mouse trap and KABLOOM... they run into their worst nightmare. So, what does this have to do with marketing your small home business? Offering the cheese simply means leading with a product or service of very high value for a very low cost.


You might have a booklet you can sell for just $10-$12 bucks, or you might offer a consultation for a certain low amount. Why do this you might ask? This is by far the best way to build immediate TRUST with your potential customers and clients. Here is a little tip you can sleep on the rest of your home business career: The closer you are to FREE in whatever you SELL, the more likely your prospects will line up at your front door to come back to buy whatever you have to offer. This is so true and you can take it to the bank.

Serve the Masses

If you haven't noticed yet, as an entrepreneur you are out to SERVE first then RECEIVE. Most people are so programmed to receive(employee minded) first than to give. Once you see that a HOT prospect makes the first move and buys your low ticket product, go the extra mile and SERVE them. For example, let them know that you appreciate them in making the first move, and send them a Free Gift to their home.

Make sure you have all of their information on file so that you can often DRIP free information to them just because you want to. If you want your customer or potential prospect to stick around for the long run, this is an absolute must. Now that you have more ideas now than before, go out and start to market your small home business with a different attitude and confidence.
