Taylor Morrison's Dream Home Giveaway is Back for 2011
Taylor Morrison made known that its 2011 Dream Home Giveaway is back and that the $200,000 grand prize home is up for grabs by one lucky winner, plus there is a chance to win prizes from HP and Microsoft every week under the company's refer their friend program.
The homebuilder said that the new Taylor Morrison dream home is waiting for the grand prize winner and it could be in any of the markets that Taylor Morrison currently builds in. If you are wondering, the builder has over 150 communities located throughout California, Arizona, Florida, Colorado, and Texas. Similarly to previous years, the winner will have the chance to be part of the house design in the home they win, including the opportunity to select the floor plan and features that best suit their wants so that they can make the prize home one they can truly call their own.
In a recent press release is was stated that in addition to the brand new Taylor Morrison dream home, each week one of the people who entered will receive an instant prize. Prize include a Microsoft Xbox 360 with Kinect, a Microsoft Zune HD player, or a HP Pavilion dm1z notebook. There are 24 prizes total (one for each week of the contest) that will be given out.
The contest runs from January 17, 2011 to June 30, 2011 and those who want to participate can register each day of the contest at the web-address: dreamhome.taylormorrison.com. The promotion is intended for registrants that are 21 years of age or older and is only available to legal residents of the United States and Puerto Rico.
"A home is something every family deserves and we're proud to help families across the country realize that dream every year," said Taylor Morrison President and CEO Sheryl Palmer. "With the Dream Home Giveaway, we get to grant that dream to one lucky person."
Taylor Morrison noted that since it first debuted, the contest has been a huge success, with more than $700,000 worth of homes given away to lucky winners in the process. In Sacramento, a single mother named Jennifer Draa won the giveaway in 2008. Draa was followed by Arizona native Kristin Pierce, wife and mother, in 2009, and then another Arizona resident Michael Bernardo won in 2010.
The Dream Home Giveaway is inspired by the Innoventions Dream Home located at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif., which Taylor Morrison built in a partnership with Disneyland, Microsoft and HP.
