Whatever you want, do not be afraid to dream it. If you can dream it, you can work towards it. If you do not bother to dream, you have nothing to work towards and success will never be a part of your future.
The Importance of Goals
Goals are just as important as dreams, but they are not the same thing. Goals are what you set in order to reach your dreams. Just think of goals as your roadmap to the attainment of the dreams you have for yourself.
Without goals, your chances of attaining your dreams are significantly reduced. After all, you may dream of being a millionaire but if you do not have a set of goals to get you there, it probably will not happen. Goals are the tools you use to help you work your way to your dreams.
How to Set Goals
To set goals, start small. For instance, if you want to start your own home business, your first goal should be deciding what type of home business to start. Once you have met that goal, your next goal should be getting that home business up and running. Once that goal has been achieved, you can set a goal for how much money you want to make during your first year. Then keep setting goals until you finally reach your dream.
Never Stop
Never stop dreaming. If ten years from now you have attained every dream you have today, dream new dreams and work towards those. Dreaming is not a goal – dreaming should be a never-ending process that propels you throughout your life.
