DiSC Behavioural Profile

DiSC is an acronym for Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Conscientiousness, reflecting a model that has fur dimensions of human behaviours. This profile is a tool that uses this model to give personalised and detailed reports on such areas as how you want to approach problems, what motivates you, what stresses you and how you want to communicate with other people.

The DiSC behavioural model is founded by William Moulton Marston Ph.D. (1893-1947. A research was conducted by Marston to examine the behaviour of a "normal" people in their location or within a specific situation. The key element of DiSC is to understand what your DiSC profile is. There are no good or bad person profiles.

The DiSC Personality Profile

Dominance – Decisive and bottom line oriented. Direct and to the point. They are strong-willed persons who love challenges, immediate results, and taking action. These type of people are commonly independent and results driven.

Influence – These people are highly social, optimistic, and outgoing. These type of people would rather participate on teams, entertaining and inspires others, and share thoughts.

Steadiness – They are persons that are empathetic, even-tempered, and cooperative. They are also supportive, team players and helpful to other people. These type f people prefer being in the corner, working in consistent and predictable ways. They avoid change and conflict, and are often good listeners.

Conscientiousness – These are precise, reserved, systematic, and analytical people. They usually plan ahead, always curious and constantly check for accuracy.

The DiSC Classic Graph is a great choice if you want an all in one toolkit with solutions for communication, sales, conflict management, and teambuilding. While in Everything DiSC is trusted and used for years already. This is the best choice if the focus is training areas like leadership, management and sales.

What Are The Benefits Of DiSC?

The DiSC assessment test can be enhanced by training. This is beneficial to most people because the DiSC profile helps you learn to appreciate you uniqueness and the strengths of others, enhance teamwork, reduces team conflicts, and improve customer satisfaction by making good customer relationships. DiSC does not measure personality type, thinking and belief, values and beliefs, and surface behaviour.

The DiSC profile is used as a training tool to establish a fast rapport and connection between people in the team or within the organisation for management, leadership, and sales. This is a good way to gain insight into how to effectively connect to other people.
