Financial freedom. It's something that most of us seek...to be free from the clutches of debt and worry. At the same time, financial freedom without Jesus is meaningless. Again, what good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?
Personally, I believe that Jesus has offered us every kind of freedom we can imagine, including financial freedom...if we'll just follow him. Of course, you can obtain it on your own, as well. That truth is evidenced by the many dishonest and unscrupulous business people in the world today. But where will they spend eternity?
We all want financial freedom. We all NEED Jesus...and the choice of finding both is within each individual person. Accepting Jesus doesn't guarantee you financial freedom, though my personal belief is that he broke the chains of debt on the cross, right along with the chains of sin, sickness and death...but it does guarantee that once you leave this world, you'll receive treasures you can't possibly imagine! Keep in mind, as you pursue your goals..."What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?" Be sure to take care of the one, before you worry too much about the other...
