But, you say.. I don't have any money, maybe one day when I have some money, I will start that business. But if you don't plan for that "one day" then it will never happen.
If you are just itching to start something, then starting an online business is probably the easiest way to get started. Depending on what you want to do for your business, you don't need much money to set the internet side of things up.
But you say, I have more days left than paycheck at the end of each month?.. This is where you have to stop and seriously look at where you dollars are going. The problem is, everyone looks at the big picture for their budget, such as hydro, heating, rent etc, and swear there is no money left.
But do you ever really look at your daily spending?.. As a book keeper, I have seen first hand where that cash goes with the businesses I help. Are your feet moving before they even hit the floor in the morning?.. grabbing a coffee or a latte on the way to work, maybe a muffin thrown in there, then there is that deli lunch, or the vending machine attack you have at 3 pm, just to get you through the day, then the takeout dinner on the way home because you are just too beat.. it all adds up big time.
Add up that coffee, latte, muffin, vending machine, those alone could be costing you anywhere from five dollars a day and up, even that times five working days is 25 dollars. Which equals one hundred dollars a month. Which is more than enough to set up a website or a online store, or even sell on Ebay.
Take a notebook and add up your day, then pick the one thing you MUST have and get rid of the rest, pack a lunch, bring your coffee, put on the crock pot for dinner.
Save where you can so you can get started on that dream of selling online or having your own web store or website. Come on the rest of your life is waiting!
