The Cable TV Technology can be described as bringing progress to and more efficient broadband transmissions broadcasting. There are satellite service broadcaster also known as direct broadcast satellite (DBS) providers.
Two prominent and well-known DBS providers are DIRECTV and the Dish Network. They beam the programs acting as a broking firm, paying broadcaster like ESPN, HBO, movie stations etc available via satellite and re-sell them to the viewer. They buy these programs wholesale and re-sell them for a profit.

So in review, here’s the basic path of a radio signal containing television programming: the programming source (the broadcaster), to a satellite, to the DBS broadcast center, back to a satellite, to the viewer’s receiver, to the television set. Now most of the channels have created streaming sites on the Internet where with the help of the satellite TV on PC software, these links can be pooled together for an Internet user to watch these channels and TV station broadcasts.
