Bill Murray first came on the scene via his standout work on Saturday Night Live. Since then, he has produced an astounding body of work in both comedic and dramatic roles. Playing an egocentric weatherman who can’t change his tune until he is forced to see a different path -- through the repetition of a single day for eternity -- Murray has some of his finest moments. 1. Rushmore. Giving Murray the opportunity to show off his serious and comic sides simultaneously, this film may have the most ideal Bill Murray role ever. It’s certainly his best. As a middle-aged suburban businessman who’s fed up with his life, Murray’s character strikes up an unconventional friendship with Max -- a prep school classmate of his sons -- while falling for the same woman.
