Inflatable Beds In The House And In The Tent

Posted: May 10, 2010 |Comments: 0 |

Inflatable beds offer campers the luxuries of home away from home.  Inflatable beds lift you from the floor and allow you to have a comfortable night's sleep without feeling the cold or every bump that you lie on, but these beds are also ideal to use in the house as well as the tent.

Inflatable beds – or sometimes known as airbeds – can come in a range of sizes and designs, from single to double, single layer or twin layer.  They vary, and whatever your needs there is always a design out there for you.

When people talk of airbeds, their minds automatically wander towards camping trips and their uses in the tent, but it's only been in recent years that they have evolved for home use.  Some designs are so large and extravagant that people are even opting to swap them for their usual beds.

Some air mattresses can offer you many of the same benefits as memory foam in that it moulds around your body when you lay on it.  This relieves pressure zones and can improve circulation.  And because there are no springs inside, and the skin of the mattress is air-tight, it decreases the amount of dust mites that live on your bed, making it a huge advantage to asthma and allergy sufferers.

But if you don't intend on using it to replace your bed, they make excellent guest beds.  It can be ready to sleep on in minutes, and in the morning it can be deflated and stowed in a place where it will be in no one's way, a simple and easy solution for any sleeping arrangements.

Or you can use inflatable beds for their original camping use.  They are ideal if you are camping at the beginning or the end of the camping season, where the ground you are sleeping on is cold.  They elevate you off the floor and this helps you to retain your heat during the night as you sleep.  And obviously, they give you added comfort so that you can still have your luxuries whilst away from home.
