PERTHSHIRE GATEWAY TO THE HIGHLANDS AND THE WEST COAST
Day 1
Why not spend your first day in and around Perth also known as the fair city. Home of some fine art galleries and the oldest reparatory theatre in Scotland. A short drive away is Scone Palace , or for motor sport enthusiasts this is also the headquarters for the Scottish Rally Championship Mcrae Forest Stages rally in October.

Leave Perth and head north in your Motorhome to Dunkeld, If your needing to stretch your legs a walk up to the Hermitage situated of the A9 is perfect. Travel and spend first night at Pitlochry, a popular and busy Victorian town in the Perthsire Highlands. Don't miss a visit to the Pitlochry dam and the salmon ladder. There are also well signed woodland walks and it's paradise for mountain bikers. Close by at Blair Atholl is one of Scotland's many malt whisky distilleries and the famous Blair Atholl Castle, the home of the only private army in Britain. For the more adventurous of you, a half day booked with Nae Limits is a must.
Day 2
Driving north head for Aviemore, a winter ski resort and also hill walking and water sports in the summer months. Aviemore is set in Scotland's Cairngorms National Park. Close by at Carrbridge is the Landmark Adventure Parrk. very popular with the young and the young at heart. For a more relaxing attraction fit in a visit to the Waltzing Waters. Motorhome parking is available at a vast number of sites in this area.
Day 3
North again to Inverness, plenty to do and see here from Shopping to Battle Fields, the capital of the Highlands of Scotland has plenty to offer everyone. Why not take one of the many boat trips available, and then park up the motorhome for the night on the banks of Loch Ness to do some monster spotting!
Day 4
A beautiful scenic drive north in your motorhome will take you to John O Groats, the most northerly tip of Scotland. Following the road around this coast of Scotland will take you through quaint and picturesque fishing villages and harbours. Why not stop and spent a peaceful night in your motorhome at Ullapool . Perhaps you,ll be lucky enough to watch the fishermen landing their catch.
Day 5
Head back to Inverness and drive down the side of Loch Ness. The locks on the Caledonia canal at Fort Augusta or Neptunes Staircase just North of Fort William are well worth a visit. A fantastic scenic drive down through Fort William and Glen Coe and onto Oban) are available to the Islands of Mull, Collinsay, Barra and Uist from Mull, why not have a trip as foot passengers to the picturesque village of Tobermory on Mull.
Day 6
A leisurly drive in you motorhome will take you to beautiful Inveraray, a visit to the town jail and Inveraray Castle are worthwhile. For seafood lovers don't miss out on the Loch Fyne Oyster bar where restaurant customers will be welcome to park their motorhome overnight overlooking the Loch.
Day 7
A drive round some of the sea lochs and Loch Lomond. Perhaps fit in time to visit Blair Drummond Safari Park or head across to Stirling where you can visit Stirling Castle or climb to the top of the 220ft Wallace Monument. Also close by is the Falkirk Wheel the only revolving boat lifter in the world. Spend the night in your motorhome in this area to allow you a leisurely drive back to Perth on your final day.
PERTHSHIRE THE HIGHLANDS AND THE EAST COAST

Day 4
Head East along the coast for Elgin, miles of beautiful beaches are to be found at Lossiemouth and it's favoured by the mild Gulf Stream. Boat trips for dolphin spotting, surfing and cycle paths are all available here.There are plenty of sites available to park up the motorhome along this coast.
Day 5
Motorhome down and spend the day in Aberdeen, the Granite City. Scotlands third largest city has something for all ages and taste. Shopping, granite architecture, modern arts scene, indoor and outdoor activities the list goes on and on.
Day 6
Further south along the beautiful coastal road will take you through Stonehaven, Montrose and onto Arbroath. Don't miss out on sampling Scotlands famous Arbroath Smokies and how they're prepared in the many smokehouses. A short drive will take you to Dundee where you can visit top quality award winning visitor attractions including Discovery Point, follow captain Scotts journey to Antarctica and The Verdant Works, a history about the Dundee weavers.
Day 7
An hours drive will take you to the capital city of Scotland, Edinburgh which is listed as a world heritage site. With sights such as Edinburgh Castle set atop an extinct volcano it's easy to see why Edinburgh has been voted one of the top visitor destinations in Europe for many years. With an abundance of shops, restaurants and bars as well as all the tourist attractions, one day won't be sufficient to see all the Edinburgh has to offer. If you have a late night park up the motorhome in one of the sites available in Edinburgh before travelling back to Perth on your final day.
