Myrtle Beach Campgrounds - Lots to Choose From!
There is a strip along South Carolina's eastern shores called the Grand Strand, and among the many hotels and resorts lies a wealth of Myrtle Beach campgrounds. Some of these are top rated and have received those honors year after year. These RV parks are for folks looking to take their RV to a different kind of beachside location.
There are a total of thirteen campgrounds along the Grand Strand that have almost eleven thousand campground sites. About half of those are available for nightly rental. Being that these camgrounds are destination locations, and not a place to stop by on the way to somewhere else, they know they have to provide a good family vacation experience for a good price. And they apperently do this quite well as indicated by the awards they receive for their efforts.

Each park has recieved its own accolades for the quality of their facilities and the different offerings they have.
What is so unique about this area is to have so many parks in close proximity that have won awards when there are thousands of parks that are being evaluated in the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds. These Myrtle Beach campgrounds just seem to have the magic as they are just good at what they do. It doen't hurt either to be able to put large facility laden campgrounds and RV parks right on the beach. This is the kind of thing a lot of RVers look for. When you have the surf and the sand combined with parks that offer lots of water activities and kid friendly events all day long, you are going to attract the large summer crowds.
But, these parks are also open year round so there is an opportunity to visit the beach in any season. Franz and Hilga prefer to visit locations like these in the less busy times of spring and fall. Rates also tend to be cheaper at these Myrtle Beach campgrounds during the slower season. But, for the families who are looking to take their RV out during the kid's summer break, this is a location not to be missed.
