In the United States the Volkswagen Eurovan is called as Eurovan. It is accessible in all Europe. There are various versions of the van. Eurovan is being manufactured for both residential and commercial use. Although they are no longer being sold in the US, since 1991, merely the commuter version was exported to the Sates. There were a few exceptions that were shipped to Winnebago for adaptation to Campers.

In Europe, commuter version includes the Caravelle, a bus-like van that seats up to nine; the Multivan, which is prepared for camping in a relatively self-effacing manner (it does have a fridge and cot, save for cupboards, bathe, or small screen set); and the full-featured camping van, known as the California in Europe.

In United Kingdom and Ireland, the assortment is sold under the Transporter brand name.

In the United States, the variants are:

  • The 7-seater Eurovan GLS.
  • The Eurovan MV. Where the seats on the second row face the rear. The third row can be transformed to a 2 person bed. It also has a petite DC refrigerator.
  • The Eurovan MV Weekender. It can be transformed to a 2 person bed. There is a folding table too provided. There are curtain to cover up all the windows neatly.
  • The Eurovan Camper. Where there is a pop top roof and enough space to make 2 person beds. 4 can be comfortably seated along with a couple of center seats. There is a one cubic foot fridge provided in this variant. It runs on DC, propane of AC. There is a 2 person dining table.

The business range is somewhat more extensive, and is also much more significant in the European market.

It adds most particularly:

  • Deliverance van with no side windows or back seating (Panel  Van)
  • Deliverance van with raised top (Elevated roof Panel Van)
  • Van with side windows and detachable back seats (Kombi, from German Kombinationskraftwagen (combination vehicle), i.e. both a commuter and a cargo van collective. besides accessible with heightened top)
  • Van with side windows. Having only in the front half of the goods region, and only one line up of detachable back seats (Half-panel)
  • Flatbed truck (Pick-up)
  • Flatbed truck with double cab plus 2 line up of seats Crewcab Pick-up)
  • Flatbed truck with lowered freight bed
  • Bare chassis with cab (both single and crewcab), for coachbuilders to construct unique bodies onto

Keeping aside these variants produced by the factory, there are a massive amount of other party variants that have hit the market. Some of these third party adaptations are offered by Volkswagen dealer itself.

These variants comprise of everything ever possible under the sun. This includes vans that are refrigerated, police vans, ambulance vans, ladder trucks and fire engine vans. The list has no end as there are new inventions cropping up ever so quickly.
