Breast Cancer Prevention

With the news of Kylie Minogue’s breast cancer, women worldwide have been concerned for their health. Breast cancer has been on the increase over recent years. However it is commonly known that rates of breast cancer are minimal in women living in China. When they move to the United States and switch diets their risk of developing breast cancer becomes the same and US women.  40,000 women are diagnosed with beast cancer every year.Eight out of ten women who have breast cancer are women who have gone through the menopause.

The Breakthrough Generations Study was launched last year which will be investigating how diet, lifestyle and childbirth has on the disease. This study should also look into how the depletion of minerals from our diets over the past two decades enables the disease.

Acid – Alkaline and Protein Diets

Cancer thrives in acidic environments and dies in alkaline ones. Cancer cells have been shown to live indefinitely in acidic solutions.  Fresh tartrate fruit juice from lemons, limes and grapefruit have an alkalising effect on the blood. Wheatgrass juice has the most powerful alkalising effect on the body.

Cancer cells thrive in anaerobic (oxygen lacking) environments so exercising regularly is a very good preventative measure in keeping the body healthy. If human beings were designed just to eat protein, put very simply, we would digest ourselves. Our alimentary canal is 24 feet long to digest vegetable matter. Additionally much of the protein eaten by people on such high protein diets is pork that has been treated by nitrates. Eliminating salt is very helpful as is contributes to the death of a cancer cell by reducing its anti-polarity.

Isoflavones - Nature Oestrogen

Isoflavones ( genistein, daidzein, formononetin, biochanin A and glycitein) are plant hormones that have a similar structure to human oestrogen’s but which are five hundred to one thousand times less active at oestrogen receptors sites in the body. They have a number of important, beneficial physiological effects and can dampen down high oestrogen states, by competing for the stronger natural oestrogen’s at oestrogen receptors. One of the main dietary sources of isoflavones is soya, which is rich in daidzein, genistein and glycitein. Sixty grams of soy protein provides 45 mg isoflavones.

In the Japanese language there is no word to describe menopause because there is no bad effects from menopause in their culture due to the high level of soya products that they consume. The Japanese intake of isoflavones is 50 to 100mg per day – compared with typical western intakes of just 2 – 5 mg isoflavones per day. Blood levels of phytoestrogens in Japan are therefore as much as 110 times higher than those typically found in the West.

Apricot Kernals - Vitamin B17

Apricot kernels are, like most nuts and seeds, very nutritious. Among the nutrients they contain is one called amygdalin, which is also known as vitamin B17. Scientific research has proven that this attacks cancer cells, and thus can help prevent cancer from breaking out in our bodies. Amygdalin (vitamin B17) is contained in many hundreds of foods, but ones that are particularly rich in amygdalin have disappeared to a large extent from our Western diet. Peoples throughout the world who still eat a traditional diet, have been found to be largely free from cancer. These diets are rich in foods containing amygdalin.

Amygdalin is less toxic than salt and sugar. Amygdalin comes alongside the immune system and attacks the cancer cells directly. The cancer cells have within them an enzyme which unlocks the cancer poison in the amygdalin, and in this way the cancer cells are destroyed. Normal, healthy cells do not have this enzyme and are not affected. In fact they have a different enzyme which unlocks the amygdalin in a different way and releases nutrients. Vitamin 17 breaks down after this reaction into vitamin B12 which benefits your nervous system. You should only eat five a day.  Scientists at London’s Imperial College are working on ADEPT therapy in which they use cyanide to successfully kill tumour cells.
