Causes Of Bone Cancer

The diseases that are fatal have to be avoided by us, and in order to avoid them we have to be aware of the causes of it, so that we can prevent them from occurring to us. Bone cancer is one such disease which apart from quite dangerous, due to the fact that the intensified disease condition can completely impair the bones in the body, has the causes still in the darkness. We are not aware of the exact causes of the disease and there is much research going on to find out the cut out reasons and causes for the primary type of bone cancer.

But the good thing is that we still have the knowledge of risk factors that are associated with bone cancer. If we avoid these factors which make us more prone to the bone cancer, we can easily get ourselves free of the bone cancer disease. The DNA or the genes that characterize every aspect our body, provide the verdict as to how the body should behave. If we have the mutant or some what defective genes that we inherited from our parents, then we have an increased chance of us acquiring the bone cancer. The genes are found to have control over the rate of cell division, which makes it a potential risk occurring place. Most patients with bone cancers are also found to have the mutated form in DNA. But this does not mean that a hereditary risk of the disease. Most often the mutated DNA from one generation is corrected in the next generation by itself.

Some people, who have had long course in the radiotherapy or high dosages in the same, are seen to be more susceptible to bone cancer. The risk is not yet clearly established and it is just seen as a minor one. Most of the people having radiotherapy do not have any type of effects regarding the bone cancer. Still, it remains a risk one needs to be wary of.

The persons who have already had a begin cancer, a minimal stage or level of development of cancerous cells, are more prone to bone cancers. This is because of the fact that there is chance that the previous cancerous cells were not completely destroyed and there may be a part of it triggering for further development of cancerous cells. There are also suggestions that heavy injuries and shocks to certain parts of the body must be treated carefully or the parts may develop cancerous cells. Though this is not proven, there is surely a view considering that as a potential causer.

Thus it is clear that bone cancer is one disease which has no clearly known causes and it is for us to try to avoid the risk factors so that we can try our best to keep the bone cancer at bay. The bone cancer can be completely avoided if we have a clear understanding of the risk factors. Causes of bone cancer are not that helpful till now, because we do not know them still!
