Lance Edward Armstrong a famous cyclist champion was informed about his testicular cancer in 1996. He was just 25 years of age. Previously he only has headaches and nothing else but when he visited doctor he was coughing blood. The doctor found out that cancer has spread in many parts of his body mainly in stomach, lungs and brains and apart from all these areas he has one big painful tumor in his testicular. He was immediately asked to undergo his testicular surgery and chemotherapy as the cancer was in its advance stages. After all these penal of doctors predicted that his survival chances are not more than 40%. But as a miracle he is still alive, during all these years he got married and has three children living life like any other normal person.
Being a champion and sport person he never give up life. He faced all with courage and surprised everyone with his great comeback. For comeback he needs intensive workouts and practice. In 2008 he announced that after consulting his family and friends he has decided to come back into the field of professional cycling. He said he is not coming back for any salary or bonuses but he is coming back to spread the cancer awareness as much as possible. He is one of the people who deem that cancer can do no harm to their hopes and determinations. And this is indeed true with his strong will and determination Armstrong all difficulties even he overcome the worst of all i.e. cancer as well.
