- Chest pain
- Fatigue or anemia
- Shortness of breath because of accumulation of fluid in the lungs
- Wheezing
- Persistent cough
- Coughed up blood in the sputum

In general, treatment options for mesothelioma include radiation therapy, chemotherapy and surgery. The treatment will be decided on the basis of the size of the cancer cells, location and the extent to which they have spread.
