Wheatgrass juice is a liquid made by grinding or otherwise juicing wheatgrass. The liquid itself is almost always bright green in color and usually florida_herb_house13444.jpgcompletely free of any solids from the grass. It is typically consumed directly after juicing the wheatgrass, although it is possible to buy bottled wheatgrass concentrate. Most people who drink wheatgrass juice consume it in small shots or mixed with another kind of juice. Wheatgrass is harvested for juicing when the grass reaches its nutritional peak. This is just before the jointing stage, when the plant is between 7 and 11 inches tall. At this point, it has accumulated energy which will soon power a massive growth spurt. It is this energy that is captured in the juice.

Any tea in loose leaf form is in it's earliest stage of its life cycle. This means you are getting the best tea your dollar can buy. Supermarket and shelf stock tea just has too much age to compare to loose leaf teas. It can take several months for a pre-packaged tea to make it into your tea cup compared to a few weeks in many cases for tea to be harvested and then delivered in bulk form to our store.

Thanks for inviting me today to talk a little about Hawaiian Sea Salt and its origin. To begin let me just clarify that sea salt is not the same as traditional table salt and is made from the evaporation of ocean water while traditional table salt or NaCl (Sodium Chloride) is mined underground and refined with anti-caking agents. True sea salts originate from many exotic locations around the world. The Hawaiian Salt is harvested in Hawaii, hence the name!
