If both players are using Clear Bakugan, each one will choose their own Attribute to use. If the battle is between a Clear Bakugan and a Translucent Bakugan, the player with the Translucent Bakugan will choose his Attribute first and the player with the Clear Bakugan will follow that Attribute. The BakuCrystal Bakugan follows the same rules as the Clear Bakugan.
With a Dual Attribute Bakugan, another rule is followed to determine the Attribute it will use. It's just simple; just choose which one of its two Attributes will be used in the brawl. As for using the BakuMutation Bakugan, the Attribute used can be changed to that of the opponent is that opponent is a Special Treatment Bakugan.
In determining the G-Powers of the Special Treatment Bakugan, there is also a difference from the usual rules concerning regular Bakugan. With especially the Pearl Bakugan, the Crimson and Pearl Bakugan, the BakuPearl, and the BakuFrost, there are two choices.
