There is no doubt that a person makes his or her first impression just due to the dressing. If you are dressed up in the best attire then there is nothing that can stop you from getting the job. Opportunities are always there but you should be capable of availing them. Dressing up in proper attire is the most important things that you must follow. There are some guidelines for men and women regarding dressing up.

Tips for males

Always dress up in two piece suit. It is better to go for the navy blue color because it is best for men. If you want to go for the light color then grey is probably the best one for you. Lining suits look more graceful than others. However, plain suit can also do the job. Go for the best tailored suit even if you have to pay some extra money purchasing such a suit.

Dress shirts must be worn with the suits. No informal dressing should be appreciated. Light blue colored shirt is good if you are going for navy blue suit. White shirt is also good but you should be very clear about the fact that the shirt and the suit must be in good fitting and must not give a feeling of being old or so. All the clothes must be dry cleaned and well pressed so that they give a tidy look.

When it comes on choosing the shoes, you should go with the dress shoes. Shoe with laces must be preferred. Swede shoes or other such informal shoe must be avoided with the formal dressing. Socks that you are wearing must be dark in color and must be manufactured of good fabric so that it will give nice look when you will sit.

Belt must be given an important place while buying the items. Some of the people do not consider the belts as important as the other accessories. You must go for the black leather belt and your socks should also be of the same color. Use cuff pins with your shirts and do not use the tie pins because they will look awkward for an interview.

If you are living in states where weather is much cooler as compared to the other areas then you must have to wear an overcoat similar to the color of the coat. However, it is better to avoid wearing overcoat as it reduces the nice look of your two-piece suit.

Tips for female

Women must also go for the selection of two piece suit when it comes to select a suit for the interview. Ivory shirt must be worn. The watch must be quite slim and very fit on the wrist of the candidate. It is better to choose the watch similar in color as of your dress.

The shirt and the two piece suit must be pressed and dry cleaned and must be giving a tidy look. the hosiery must be chosen according to the dressing pattern and must not look awkward. Do not get over burden with the jewellery because it does not give a formal look.

Avoid excessive make-up. Always go for the light foundation and use dull colors instead of going for the bright ones. Your nails must be well groomed and it is better to use a blush on the nails.
