Help Me Find A Job? Here's Your Help!

Posted: Jan 31, 2011 |Comments: 0 |

Help me find a job! This is the question I am often asked by people who have been unemployed for any lengthy period of time. Quite often what I discover after talking with them is that they seldom have any sort a job search plan or any idea as to how they're going to change their current economic situation.

Here is a brief list of what anyone who is unemployed and desperately seeking a solid career position should be doing on an ongoing basis.

Keeping your self esteem in check. One of the biggest issues that face anyone who finds themselves unemployed is dealing with the significant issue of loss of self-esteem and confidence, resulting from a job loss. One very important thing to do every single day to help combat this loss of self worth is exercise! Get into the gym, go for a walk or just plain do something physical for at least 30 minutes a day, every single day.

Develop a job search plan. You'll be asking: will this help me find a job? Very simply piece together a plan that identifies the resources, the actions and the people who can help you locate new employment. This job search plan will help you find employment much faster than someone who has no plan and no sense of where they are taking their job search efforts.

Start a part-time business. While you are actively engaged in working your above mentioned job search plan the other hours of the day could be used to start a small part time business. This will keep you productive and focused, and will give you something to put on the resume. And if you are successful with this small part time business you now have a second income that could at some point down the road replace any "job earned income".

By being proactive in following the above three items consistently you will find yourself not asking the question: help me find a job? Get out there and make things happen, work your plan, exercise regularly and start your small business! By following these three items you will get employed that much faster and will even have a new sense of pride with your new found side business.

In order to be able to consume coffee beans, first the beans must be roasted. Before they are roasted, coffee beans are green and small. By roasting them, they expand and, during this process, the color, smell, and taste of the coffee beans change.
