Part time jobs for those who are attending school or are busy studying are plentiful if you know where to look. Most employers would rather hire a part time worker so they don't have the extra costs of offering the employee bonuses such as health benefits or overtime pay. Some employers will offer these bonuses but it's not usual for a part time employee to receive them.

The first idea for a part time job to do when you are busy studying would be to get hired as a child care worker, nanny or baby sitter. These jobs are almost always in high demand on a part time basis. If you have any experience at all working with children and can pass a back ground check you will be able to find employment as a babysitter during the evenings you have free. The good thing about this type of job is that after the children are asleep you can continue to study while still getting paid to do a job.

The next part time job to do while you are in school or studying is that of a waitress or waiter. Cafe's, coffee shops and restaurants are almost always hiring and most don't want to hire full time workers. This type of job doesn't take much training, but even if it does you can receive it on the job. Most employers will work with you and gear the hours you work according to your schedule.

Another part time job for students is that of a grocery store worker. They hire cashiers on a part time basis along with people that are trained to stock the shelves at night. They also hire cleaners to work evening. Most grocery store workers make minimum wage but every little bit helps when you are in school or busy with your studies.

If you can type well you may be able to hire your services out on a part time basis in the evenings. Many of your fellow college students don't type as well as they would like to, so they would be eager to pay you to make the finished copy of their home work in a professional manner. Your school library may also have part time job openings. You could help put books away, teacher beginners how to use a computer or answer the phones for the librarian. You could also help check books out when customers are ready to leave.

If you excel in any of your studies you could hire your services out as a tutor. So many students need extra help, especially in the area of mathematics, which you might get more part time job offers then you can handle. Working as a tutor will also introduce you to what teachers do on a daily basis. If you are comfortable with and like to be around pets you could be a dog walker. This job is in high demand because the owners either don't have time in their busy schedules or may be unable to walk the dogs themselves. Working part time as a dog walker will allow you to get exercise after being in the class room all day, and the pay is usually quite fair.
