If you decide to take a telemarketing job from home, you won't be given an extremely long phone list that includes harsh hang-ups and rude comments on the other end of the line. In fact, it's quite the opposite. A business to business telemarketer entails contacting the manager of the business, and informing him/her of the latest products and upgrades that could benefit their company. If you decide to take a telemarketing job from home, you'll most likely be received with politeness, genuine interest and professionalism. You'll also be given extensive training to obtain the knowledge and expertise to execute the duties necessary for your position.

Also, another benefit from obtaining a telemarketer job from home is that most businesses will conduct meetings via the internet, also known as web conferencing. This allows the employee to conduct live meeting, presentations and training from the comfort of your own home.

For interactive online workshops, web conferences are complemented by electronic meeting systems (EMS) which provide a range of online facilitation tools such as brainstorming and categorization, a range of voting methods or structured discussions, typically with optional anonymity. Typically, EMS does not provide core web conferencing functionality such as screen sharing or voice conferencing though some EMS can control web conferencing sessions.

Now on to the one of the major questions a prospective telemarketer employee from home may ask, how much money can I make? Well that basically depend on you.  If you build strong relationships with your clients, and create a professional rapport with them you can make a great living.  Like any sales position, employers usually offer a base pay plus commission. For a telemarketing job from home, this factor doesn't change.

Telemarketers base pay may not seem like very much, but if you're truly dedicated to work, and have a full understanding and are passionate about the product you're selling, you should make a lot more that your hourly wage.

The median yearly income for telemarketers is $40,000. Not bad for a position right out of your home. Of course, like any job, the longer you do it, the better at it you'll become which will increase your salary even more.
