What are the pros and cons of a temp job, even a short term temp job?
Pros:
Flexibility: when you work in a regular job, your hours are set in advance and sometimes they clash with other activities you have. When you're a temp worker you can decide when to work and choose jobs that fit your schedule.
If you're a student and you have to go to classes, or if you want another job in addition to your regular job, so you'll be able to earn some extra money, a temp job is the perfect solution for you; choose when to work, so your job won't interfere with more important tasks you have right now.

Finding a full time or a steady job: let's say, you found a temp job and you're happy with your working place and your employer is also satisfied with your work - why not make it your permanent working place? Temp jobs can be your way of finding a stable job you like and good at.
Besides, if you're looking for a job, even a stable one, you shouldn't sit at home and send your resume and wait for employers to call you. It might take weeks or even months until you find a job. In the meantime you can be a temp worker, work in a few places, earn money and maybe even find a working place you like and turn the temp job into a permanent job.
Cons:
The only disadvantage is that temp jobs aren't stable. But you can look at it as a way to find a permanent working place: you check if you like the job and your employer checks if he likes you as a worker.
