The Benefits of Getting SEO for New Companies

Simply put I need to write this article about search engine optimisation, S.E.O. or Online marketing. I ran my own business for three years without a clue what it did and the way it could help my work. That's one of the problems when working on your own business, lots of things to do and not enough time to do it all and have a life. My perspective on the site that I had designed was, the website would be discovered by clients and I could have it on my paper work to show clients to the website and that would be enough.

How far off I was, I even bought some pay per click via Google that I sort of set up but didn't really understand what I was doing. What I have since come to learn is that I was not benefiting from one of the most significant advertising tools my business could ever require. By altering the text, Meta tags on my site I could make it more relevant to the search engines and in that way allow the search engines to classify my website in the right way.

This helped make it easier for individuals searching for the thing I was providing to find me with fairly generic phrases for the subject. What I then had to do was develop the off site stuff to ensure that individuals that had websites that were interested in what I do linked back to me in a particular way that once again strengthened the importance to the search engines.

By doing this in the right way the increase in traffic was huge once I used a business to correct my website and implement a proper off site campaign my contacts through the site went through the roof, find out as much as you can about the subject before using a business and when you do keep a close eye on your statistics to show that you are getting a good return on your investment.
