About 62% of them worked in offices of physicians, 12% worked in hospital settings, 11% worked in other health professionals' offices, such as chiropractors, podiatrists, and optometrists. Employment rate of MAs is projected to be one of the fastest booming occupations over 2006-2016 which is expected to grow 35% over the period. The increasing demand for the health care industry has developed more opportunities for MAs to fit themselves in.

This is a meaningful occupation since MAs are there to offer physical, mental, and social support to the patients. People actually see medical field employees as lovely and noble people.
