Anybody who has recently spent time trying to find a permanent job would most likely be willing to attest as to just how hard it is, especially if it is for a specific job. Obviously, the cruise option may sound the most appealing of all of the temporary travelling jobs out there. You would be working but meeting people from all walks of life and seeing the world too. Working on a cruise ship is generally a lot of fun and you can earn between $2000 and $6000 a month, which is higher than most temporary jobs at home would offer. This is a temporary travelling job with extremely long hours though. Some days you may actually be on your feet for twelve hours and would only get one day off a week. You would be on the cruise ship often between 4 and 6 months, and if all went well then your contract would be renewed after your original one drew to an end. For a temporary travelling job, it can often turn into a long-term career. However, you would be away from your friends, family and home for months at a stretch with no way of getting home if you wanted to. This requires mental and physical strength and resolve. Homesickness is fine for the first few days, but would you be able to put it to the back of your mind after a few weeks?
