Engineering is a four-year Bachelor Degree course where admission is subject to an Admission Test. You can obtain a BE/BTech from the following
- Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, Mumbai, Roorkee, Kanpur and Guwahati are the most coveted of engineering colleges.
- Regional Engineering Colleges such as Kurukshetra, DCE, Jamshedpur, Rourkela, Silchar, which have a common entrance exam.
- BITS Pilani, Manipal College of Engineering, Indian School of Mines, Harcourt Butler Technological Institute and quite a few more are other primary engineering colleges
There are a number of other colleges in India and abroad available for which information can be got on the net.
Admission for a Master's Degree can be obtained based on performance and the score in GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).
