Dammam is the capital of the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia. Its location is commercially and strategically important as it is a major port of the nation. Dammam is located only 400 km away from Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Because of its location and the port, it has become a major commercial hub of the country. The city attracts a lot of business and provides career opportunities to a lot of expatriates in all major industries. Jobs in Dammam are quite lucrative too and are constantly on a lookout for trained and qualified people.

Dammam is mostly known for its major petrochemical and oil refining industries. Hence, there are many oil and gas as jobs in Damamm. To reach Dammam, you would land on the King Fahad International Airport which also enjoys the reputation of being the largest airport in the world in terms of land area. The airport is situated about 20 km to the northwest of Dammam. Dammam is surrounded by eight lane highways that connect it to the neighbouring cities. Within Dammam, the Saudi Railway Authority operates two separate passenger and cargo lines. Thus, Dammam is well-connected transport-wise with the rest of the region.
