Location of the study room:
- The study room of a house should be located in a direction which is considered the most auspicious for studies such as East, North or north-east of the house. As per Vastu Shastra, these directions can help in improving concentration while studying. Make sure that there is no mirror reflection in the study room. They might feel more burdened because of this.
Locate Study Table according to Vastu Shastra:
The placement of study table is of utmost important for the concentration of a student. The study table should be placed facing East or North. Also, make sure that the child is facing East or North while studying. The table should be away from the wall. The child should have a wall at his / her back as it signifies support.
According to Vastu Shastra, the study table should be square or rectangular and it should not be too big or too small. A table of small size can be uncomfortable while studying and a table of big size can have an effect on working capacity of the child.
Placement of Bookshelves as per Vastu Shastra:
All the bookshelves and cabinets should be placed only in the East, North, and North-east directions. They should not be in the center of room. It is always the best to leave central portion of study room empty. Besides that, avoid placing bookshelf over the study table as it may create unnecessary stress for child. If we take care of small things we can avoid any hindrance which comes in education of our child.
Color scheme of the study room as per Vastu Shastra:
The walls of a study room should of light colors rather than dark colors. As per Vastu Shastra, light colors are very auspicious and enhance the learning power of students. Also, avoid using black color in the study room. The most auspicious colors are green, light green, blue, cream or white.
There should be proper lighting:
There should be proper light in the study room. Dim light is not favorable for the education and growth of a child. Sunlight gives positive energy for doing work so the windows of a study room should be in East and North of the room.
Shape of the study room:
The study room should be of pyramid shape. It is used only for studying and not for sleeping so it can be made in a pyramid shape.
Where should be the door and windows located?
* Door to the study room should be in the North-East or North
* Large Windows should be in the east wall
* Smaller windows should be in the West wall
