Fresher Jobs For Graduates In Delhi

Over the last decades, as the Indian economy and markets opened up, there has been a creation of numerous job openings for fresh graduates. With our education system also diversifying, each year thousands of fresh graduates pass out from various disciplines looking for jobs in various industries. Fresher jobs are offered by almost all industries such as BPOs, KPOs, Media, Finance, Hospitality, Internet, Manufacturing etc. There are many entry level jobs for graduates in these sectors. Delhi and the NCR have seen exponential growth in the last many years across industries. So, there is no dearth of jobs for freshers in Delhi in any of the industries. Especially, there has been a spurt in job opportunities with the growth of the adjoining Noida and Gurgaon as commercial hubs.

Depending on the discipline that one has graduated in and the specific skills that one possesses, there are fresher jobs up for grabs for graduates. Arts graduates could look forward to taking up jobs in the fields of customer service, back office, sales, public relations, web content management, data entry, event management, print and electronic media and other fields. For commerce graduates, there are ample jobs in the banking and finance industry. For science graduates, jobs are in research, biotechnology, labs etc. Fresh IT graduates have a wide spectrum of jobs in the field of software development, entertainment and media, hospitality, IT-enabled services and other such areas. In Delhi, one can find all such jobs in these fields. After hiring, most companies provide initial training to fresh graduates before pressing them into operations.
 
In Delhi, fresher jobs for graduates are also available on part-time basis. This trend has picked up only in the last few years. These part-time fresher jobs are especially suitable to those who want to pursue higher studies and work simultaneously. Also, there are freelance and work from home options available too.

There are also a plenty of freelance or work from home freshers' jobs for graduates. In Delhi and the adjoining areas, many multi-national companies have set foot. These companies have immense job opportunities for freshers. Also, Delhi has seen huge development in the last decade. Not just locals but graduates from across north India come to Delhi to look for jobs.

In the IT sector, Gurgaon is the hub of IT companies. These companies hire freshers as well as experience3d professionals throughout the year. Both Indian and multinational companies hire fresh graduates. Even if you are an IT diploma holder, you stand a good chance of getting a job. A fresh graduate in IT would initially be hired as a trainee or a junior team member. BPOs have opened the gates of job opportunities for arts graduates with a command on the English language and good verbal communication skills. In fact, graduates from any field can apply for jobs in BPOs. Also, for those who have a flair for writing can look for fresher jobs in writing and KPOs. Content writers, copy writers and e-learning executives are hired by major KPO Firms.

 

For commerce graduates, there are ample opportunities in the banking and finance sectors. Both public and private banks across Delhi and NCR hire commerce and management graduates. Many such companies conduct campus interviews to hire fresh graduates.

In Delhi and the adjoining Noida, there are many news channels and newspapers offices located. There are many jobs for freshers in media and mass communication. If one holds a diploma or a degree in this field, the chances of getting hired are very high. Even without a formal degree in this field, students from other disciplines can also get jobs in media at entry level.

The hospitality industry is quite developed in Delhi as the city is the capital city and there is a huge flow of tourists here. In the hospitality sector also, there are jobs at entry-level on the front office, in the kitchen, housekeeping etc. Also, the aviation industry and the travel industry offers good jobs to fresh graduates. Then, there are many jobs for fresh graduates in the retail and the manufacturing industries also. Owing to such good opportunities, Delhi/NCR has become the hot spot for jobseekers and fresh graduates looking for jobs.
