Getting a job in the UK Police Force

If you are thinking about getting a job in the UK Police Force, it’s very simple. You definitely need to meet all the requirements and you have to be over 18 years of age; you also have to have math and literacy skills, among that you must be a Citizen of Britain or be in the process of becoming a Citizen without any passport restrictions. You must pass the assessment and physical examination. In order to find a job in police force, you can look in the newspaper, look on the internet, or find out which Police Force is hiring recruits in your area. Once you find one that is hiring they will have to make sure you meet all the requirements and then they will call you back and schedule an appointment with you. You will have to have assessment materials so you will be prepared to take the test, you will have two weeks to prepare for the test.

This test is called The Police Recruiting Test which in short is called PRIT which won't be a problem to pass if you take time and study competitively. There is 9% out of about 80,000 that passes the test each year. If you get a passing score when you take the test then you are ready to begin the medical and fitness test. If you are a person that takes care of your health and exercise on a regular basis you shouldn't have a problem passing the physical examination test. You should pass it with flying colours; generally this seems like the easiest part. After you have passed all the tests including the fitness test, all you have to wait on is the appointment to come in and be hired into the UK Police Force, they will have to do a reference check, and criminal background check and you're on your way to becoming a new Police Officer of UK, there can never be enough of Police Officers. Your responsibilities will be to help keep the country safe, and help enforce the law as well you following all the rules and guidelines that you as an officer must abide by in order to stop crime.
