An Architect is responsible for drawing up the plans for the development. Depending on the size of the project there may be more then one architect on the payroll. A surveyor will need to take measurements of the property and carry out various tests to ensure that the land is capable of supporting a structure. They will also establish property boundary lines and advise the property owner on their findings.
A Quality Control Manager works in the creation of quality construction materials. Some large construction companies have the facilities required to make their own materials and a quality control manager must ensure that items that are going to be used in the building process are able to do the task they were designed for. They will need to have a great deal of experience in the building trade to be able to ensure that the products that leave their facility are of the highest quality.
