Since many years, trained professionals of India have been migrating to the Gulf in search of jobs that pay high. In fact, gulf countries are the house to nearly five million Indian workers. They are spread across different career options like oil & gas, construction, hospitality and nursing and medical care. While most of these professionals have taken up blue-collar jobs, top of the line jobs are also absorbing a lot of Indians these days. Another factor that attracts Indians to Gulf countries is that they provide a good standard of living with a high-paying job.

A recent survey by HSBC Expat Explorer stated that the UAE is the second best place in the world to migrate to. The first position has been occupied by Singapore. Currently, Gulf States are offering good jobs along with amazing lifestyle, high salaries and least tax. Thus, these countries have become the top choice of Indian migrants who are looking at high-paying jobs in gulf in the field of their expertise. The opportunities offered in Gulf countries are vast and it accepts skilled and talented professionals with open arms. Whether it is UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman Qatar or Saudi Arabia, the job opportunities are huge here and each state entices talent in its own way. Different countries might be having different ways of attracting talent but they all offer ample high-paying jobs to those looking to migrate.

UAE that comprises of Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah, and Umm al-Quwain - has a huge emigrant population. So, it can be said that the expatriate population here outnumbers the local one. In fact, as per a data, 90% professionals in this area are from foreign countries. Thus, career avenues here are immense. Abu Dhabi and Dubai are the hottest job destinations for obvious reasons of all the emirates. Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, is a rapidly developing area that also accounts for around 60% of the UAE's GDP. It offers all kinds of job opportunities in the real estate sector as well as oil and gas industry, construction, education, IT and healthcare. Besides this, there are different high-paying jobs up for grabs in these industries in Abu Dhabi.

On the other hand, Dubai is a popular destination not just for tourism but also as a career destination. This city offers an exclusive lifestyle and due to the large number of professional expatriates who are settling down for lucrative jobs here, Dubai has become one of the fastest growing populations in the world. Undoubtedly, there is a plethora of job opportunities in the banking and finance, engineering, construction, management, tourism, media, education and telecommunications and IT sectors in Dubai. The style of living in Dubai is very up-market and it is also an open-mind state.

If Dubai enjoys a recent popularity, Saudi Arabia enjoys preference by professionals for years. It has been the favorite career destination of expats looking to find high-paying jobs in the Gulf. Saudi Arabia offers a lot of high-paying jobs in sectors such as education, the oil industry and the private sector. The most important factor that acts as a dampener for Saudi Arabia is its restrictive and old-fashioned lifestyle as opposed to Dubai. The state is alcohol free and expatriates live here in compounds. If an expat is ready to live in these restrictions, Saudi Arabia is the destination.

Now, Kuwait is also one of the hottest destinations for skilled workers as it is seeing a spurt in infrastructure. Besides that, the region is oil-rich with the major job opportunities in the energy sector. However, of late, it is looking to expand and promises to offer a lot of high-paying jobs across various sectors. Qatar also offers a high standard of living. It is also among the least taxed nations. Thus, it is a very attractive destination for those who are looking to earn very high in some time. It offers jobs in hospitality, accountancy, education, engineering, finance, management, healthcare, sales and airlines.

Last but not the least, Oman has many advancing career opportunities. IT and Communications are fast developing in this region and the industrial employment sector has always been the hottest choice. Therefore, Gulf boasts of high paying jobs across all states. One has to just opt for the region of choice and the job that offers the most in terms of money and lifestyle.
