Basic knowledge of word processing, transcription equipments, word processing programs, use of electronic references and dictation technology is provided under this unit. It covers standard concepts, ethics, latest trends in technologies that are used in healthcare documentation.
4. Professional expertise:
This section of Medical Transcription course is designed to develop and improve professional skills. This section covers demonstration of proofreading, correct transcribing and professional capability. This section is aimed to create awareness of various functions, dynamics of MT, interpretation, inconsistencies, editing and revising practices etc. It also covers recognization, evaluation, discrepancies and inaccuracies.
