Therefore the scope of practice for a Bachelors of Science in Nursing is different than an Associate Degree in Nursing. This is another option that the would be nurse should consider. For instance, for an Associate Degreed Nurse their main scope of practice if to give direct care to patients in a hospital care setting. For a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, their main scope of practice includes not only giving care in a hospital setting but to provide leadership, education to families as well as communities.
