ESL Teaching Jobs Overseas

For fresh college graduates who have dreams of traveling around the world but think it would be too expensive, getting an ESL teaching job overseas is a great option. There is a global demand for native English speakers to pass on the knowledge of their language to others who are eager to learn in order to advance in business or education.

Vacations typically last only a couple weeks because of financial constraints, However ESL teaching provides you with both the opportunity and the means to stay in a foreign country for an extended period of time. In fact, it is not at all uncommon for a teaching job to last an entire year. In most cases, ESL teaching jobs are paid and can be relied upon as a steady means of income.

To get teaching assignments, you will need to get trained and certified to teach legally overseas. Training will also enhance your fees in assignments and other teaching jobs. After getting certified, look for agencies that can provide you with a teaching job in a location you want to visit.

Cruise Ship Jobs

A great way to see the world and get paid at the same time is to work on a cruise ship. You can go aboard and sail to the Mediterranean seas and across the Atlantic into the Caribbean. You can visit ports such as Naples, Florence, Monte Carlo, Cannes, Barcelona, Venice, Istanbul, Croatia, Jamaica, the Bahamas, the Virgin Islands, and Mexico, just to name a few.

There are of course numerous positions on a cruise ship and numerous cruise ships to choose from. You can work as attendants, leisure managers, and entertainers. There are a lot of positions to fill. Other jobs on ships that give you the time to get off the ship and explore include work as a youth or teen staff employee. When the ship is in port you will not work; the hard days are sea days when you watch the children all day.
