To become a plumber you need to take plumbing training. The OJT requirements to become a fully licensed plumber vary depending on your location, your local code enforcement agency can tell you what the specifics are. In many cases you need to practice your plumbing under the direct supervision of a licensed plumber for three years before yo can become licensed yourself.
