Recognizing Talents

Much in modern question about the reasons for the difficulty in finding talent in the market. Many business consultants present the argument that there are many people in business, but few talents. Why?

In reality it is so difficult to find talent and to think, because the talent is there. In a company with five hundred employees is unacceptable to say that there is talent. What actually happens is that the talents are overlooked by companies that show the difficulty in finding them.

The greatest difficulty is not to find talent, but to recognize them. Companies do not recognize talent for several reasons:

- They do not want: Prefer to hire professionals recognized in the market than waste time on tests to identify potential employees among themselves;
- Not know: Do not have the resources to identify talents among its own employees and can not identify the types of profiles;
- Fear: Many leaders still fear losing office for young talents fresh out of college who come to business full of new ideas and a strong desire to impact the organization.

There are many other reasons for it and so these talents are inappropriately allocated, subject to the bureaucratic situations and merely routine work, which culminates with the full utilization of its potential.

The talent must be used in situations of creative work and not just exposure to red tape, alienating their potential. This means that the modern manager needs to know each team member individually to find out what are the talents, skills / strengths and weaknesses present.

Thus, the manager may occasionally make the employee work situations where your talent will be better spent, your skills will be further developed and their weaknesses minimized. The possibility of using creativity, and promote the motivation, support to enhance skills.

It is not difficult, simply that the managers observe the more people they work with and believe in the potential of each team member in order to allocate them according to their abilities without fear of losing jobs to newcomers, otherwise talent will continue to be neglected.
