Re-evaluating Your Career

A few years ago, retirement was to prepare for death. Today, it is a starting point for a new phase in life. If you are prepared, it can be exciting. Life expectancy has increased greatly.

Consider the following questions and see what questions you still need to answer. By doing this analysis and consider what to do if all the answers are positive, you will make a major step toward growth:

  • Is your career planning well prepared?
  • Are able to meet your customers well?
  • Are motivated to overcome adversity professional?
  • Do you know what your strengths and weaknesses?
  • Is your leadership  well developed?
  • Do you know how to sell?
  • Is your resume well suited to the demands of the market?
  • Have you had any feedback on their performance in interviews?
  • Are you clear in your mind what your personal skills are?
  • Have you already defined the next courses to be made and programmed for them?
  • Can you manage your time well?
  • Are you able to make a presentation in public?
  • Is personal financial management effective?
  • Have you already planned your second profession after 50 or 60 years old?
  • Can you properly use the resources if they are available?
  • Are you prepared to address and implement changes?
  • Can you help the organization where you work to resolve conflicts and improve relationships between employees?
  • Are you prepared to face a 360 evaluation?
  • Have you ever thought if there is an agent of motivation of the members of your team?
  • Can you achieve a balance between professional and personal life?

Find someone who can be your mentor, coach or sponsor (the name is not so important, but rather the result) and grow like a pro! Get support for your growth within the current business or get ready to pursue new market opportunities. Find your professional and personal development.

If there is no one in your relationship with the appropriate characteristics to be your coach, hire someone who meets your requirements. I myself do this work, including the Internet and by phone. Learn about the benefits that a consulting staff can do for your career. Generally investments are compatible with each professional.

Through a survey of the current situation can seek effective solutions and, after a diagnosis, outline a plan of action to achieve the desired success.
