Sainsburys Job Vacancies For The Food Fan

Imagine working around food all day…that would be one of the best jobs in the world, right? Being a chocolatier would surely be high up on the list of ‘most wanted’ jobs, but getting a role in the first place would be a little hard. If you like the idea of working around food, why not consider a job at Sainsburys? Sainsburys job vacancies offer many different opportunities for the food fan and it means you could end up working in some very exciting areas. Here are some of the Sainsburys job vacancy options:

•  The Fish counter – it might not smell like chocolate, but some people would actually really like to work on the fish counter in a supermarket. These people would need to have strong stomachs though, in order to be able to skin and bone different types of fish ready for sale. Who knows, you could even open your own fish and chip shop in a few years’ time!
•  The Cheese counter – well, there are a lot of cheese fans out there that would relish the opportunity to work with cheese all day. Not as easy as you might think, you would get the opportunity to learn all the different names of cheese and taste test them before they are put on sale. That is, of course, the best part. Sainsburys job vacancies often detail cheese counter jobs that are available.
•  The Bread counter – if the smell of fresh bread gets you all hot under the collar, baking bread each day could be your ideal job. You would have to resist the temptation of eating it all though! Most supermarkets these days, including many Sainsburys stores, bake their bread fresh on the premises, so you would have the responsibility of making the tastiest and crustiest loaves around.

Unfortunately, there are no Sainsburys job vacancies for the chocolate counter, as there is no such thing! There are, however, multiple opportunities to work on the shop floor and you can make sure the chocolate aisle is neat and tidied to perfection. You would be getting paid to work with food! The main benefit is surely the generous staff discount you will receive and you can do your weekly shop before you leave at the end of the day. That’s got to be convenient….
